About tadedeaux

I am a student of Ecopsychology who has only just now come to understand the importance of my relationship with the Earth. During the first decades of my life I studied myself and my relationships. Since 2007 I have begun to have these amazing outdoor experiences that have lead me to want to know more about the context of who I am and how I can touch the world. I hope you are not only entertained by what it is I feel compelled to share, but you are made to think and inspired to share the gift that is you as well.

Partly Sunny With a Chance of Better Understanding

Where I am right now with my thoughts is in considering the narrative of climate change and how we talk about it impacts what happens next (and how we feel about it). Climate Progress has been noting better reporting from … Continue reading

Cold with a Chance of Context

We will be known forever by the tracks we leave. – Native American Proverb I do not completely understand climate change. I know that I am not awake, but waking. I know that something is going on…I can feel it … Continue reading

Cloudy with a Chance of Hope

Today’s weather is cloudy with a chance of hope.  In a Ted Talk on endangered cultures, Wade Davis said it was the belief of National Geographic “that politicians will never accomplish anything…but we think that storytelling can change the world.”  … Continue reading

Clear with a Chance of Drastic Change

Today’s weather is clear with a chance of drastic change within hours, if not days, and definite within years.  Has anyone noticed that the drastic change in weather is happening in every other year cycles?  Two years ago there was … Continue reading
